Power Of Prayer
God's help through the power of prayer is available for all kinds of requests and issues. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Communion of Saints
We are all One Body. Those who are part of the Body of Christ cannot be separated from His Body through death. All who are alive in Christ, whether on earth or in heaven, have the joyful duty of praying to God, asking Him to bestow His favors upon those in need. We who are in need must humble ourselves to ask the prayers and petitions of our brothers and sisters, both those here present and those who have gone before us, our elder brothers and sisters who have attained the reward of salvation through Jesus Christ, and stand before His Throne in heaven. The Church Triumphant (those in Heaven) pray for the Church Militant (those on earth), while the Church Militant prays for the Church Suffering (those in Purgatory).
